This two-session workshop is specifically for students from McGill’s Department of Physiology and begins with a simple but effective online assessment.
The CliftonStrengths Assessment (formerly named the Clifton StrengthsFinder) was developed by the Gallup organization and measures your specific order of 34 themes of ‘talent’ or your natural way of thinking, feeling, and behaving.
This is your talent DNA. It explains the unique ways you accomplish your goals by building relationships, thinking strategically, executing plans, and influencing others.
Succeed at School, Work, and Everywhere Else Using Your CliftonStrengths
Knowing your CliftonStrengths empowers you to perform better by doing more of what you naturally do best.
CliftonStrengths helps you aim for greater performance.
You can use your CliftonStrengths to answer questions like:
How do I improve in my career?
How can I develop professionally?
How can I perform at a high level? Why? Because CliftonStrengths focuses on your greatest opportunities for development and success, rather than only on your weaknesses.
Use your CliftonStrengths reports and learning resources to tackle your work using your talents — it’s a more effective way to accomplish your goals.
CliftonStrengths, based on Positive Psychology principles, helps you harness what makes you uniquely powerful.
You can use your CliftonStrengths to answer questions like:
How can I improve my skills?
How can I improve my problem-solving?
How can I improve my teamwork? Why? Because CliftonStrengths gives you greater self-awareness, which can help you succeed in any facet of life.
This program is fast-paced, interactive, and fun. You will learn as a full group but also work together in Zoom breakout rooms for more detailed and in-depth conversations.
